and so is ending another year...

As 2018 draws to a close I am once again mindful of how wonderful this time of the year is for some and how difficult and painful it can be for many. I meet a lot of people who put on a brave face but are screaming on the inside. My words are the same each year, "be true and kind to yourself" - especially at this time of the year. This season can place a lot of pressure on us to write cards, give gifts, attend gatherings, mix with people we don't want to and spend money we don't have. It can be beautiful and it can place immense stress on us. People are understanding - especially those who love and care for you. Likewise, care and love yourself. I will sign off with a quote from the movie Push, "The future is always changing in the largest of ways by the smallest of things.”
