    As we approach 2018...

    For some, these last days of the year are exciting and fun. For many others and especially these last few days leading up to Christmas can be stressful, exhausting, miserable and in some instances extremely sad. For those who have lost loved ones and especially at this time of the year, for those who had hoped the end of the year would be different in some way for them however it's not worked out for them that way and for those who simply feel such pressure and are unable to

    (Surviving) the holiday season!

    This time of year can be extremely difficult for many people. Thoughts of loved ones no longer with us, hopes that haven't materialised, seeing people or adverts of people laughing and having fun can put pressure on us and in my fertility work looking around or seeing adverts for toys and showing families can really bring home a huge sense of loss or despair.     Reflections

    I enjoy listening to music and for convenience have a few USB sticks full of various artists, genres and tracks that I listen to generally on a shuffle mode. Earlier today I picked out an old CD that I hadn't heard in some time and with volume cranked up, pressed play and it was pure joy that washed over me.
